Menjelang tutup kuliah semester genap, situasi di tanah air cukup sibuk. Kesibukan campur aduk antara kesibukan administratif, akademis, puasa Ramadhan, dan kesibukan kenegaraan. Empat aktivitas inilah yang minimal bisa dicatat antara bulan April hingga waktu tutup semesteran bulan Juli 2014 ini.
Kesibukan administratif
Kesibukan administrartif paling tidak dipengaruhi oleh menjelang berakhirnya era kepemimpinan presiden SBY. Para menteri akan menyelesaikan masa dari keseluruhan periodenya, yang ditandai dengan keinginan melakukan penataan akhir tugasnya dengan melakukan banyak hal. Di lingkungan kementerian agama misalnya, Tim Irjen turba ke pelbagai perguruan tinggi se Indonesia. Berbagai data terkait dengan kehadiran dosen atau PNS, laporan beban kinerja dosen sejak 2012 hingga kelengkapannya seperti Buku Ber-ISBN dicek dalam kesempatan ini. Maka benar jika sejumlah dosen mengatakan bahwa pada masa ini kita rasakan kemerungsung dalam mengantisipasinya.
Kesibukan Akademis
Dalam kesibukan akademis, selain berkaitan dengan pengecekah kehadiran dan SAP kuliah oleh Tim Irjen, kita juga berhadapan dengan penerimaaan mahasiswa baru. Penerimaan mereka di kampus Walisongo dilakukan dalam berbagai even, baik yang murni diselenggarakan oleh IAIN Walisongo sendiri maupun ketiga melakukan interaksi antara IAIN Walisongo dengan segenap kampus yang ada di seluruh Indonesia.
Padahal selain dua kesibukan di atas, suasana ini berkaitan dengan saat-saat mahasiswa mengakhiri semesteran. Semesteran kali ini, berlangsung sejak akhir Juni. Padahal, pada tanggal 16-17 hingga 23-25 Juni 2014 akhir perkuliahan di kampus praktis tersendat oleh pelaksanakan tes bagi calon mahasiswa IAIN Walisongo Semarang. Padahal, meng- akhiri kuliah dengan baik adalah suatu prestasi yang baik bagi dosen yang berprestasi. Lebih-lebih setelah akhir kuliah, segera akan memasuki bulan puasa Ramadhan.
Kesibukan Keagamaan dan Kenegaraan
Kaitannya dengan kesibukan kenegaraan, sejak bulan April hingga setidaknya Juli ini diisi dengan kegiatan politis. Pada bulan April yang lalu, tepatnya 9 April 2014 yang lalu, rakyat Indonesia telah menggunakan kesempatan untuk berpartisipasi dalam menyuk-seskan Pemilu Legislatif. Tidak kurang dari sepuluh partai telah berpartisipasi dalam pemilu legislatif itu. Dan setelah itu, hari-hari ini kita akan segera menyongsong datangnya puasa Ramadhan. Pada malam Jum’at kemaren, kita sudah bersama menghadapi Malam Nishfu Sya’ban yang berarti bahwa setengah bulanan lagi kita akan puasa, dan 30 harian setelahnya kita berhari raya yang didahului dengan pelaksanaan Pemilihan Presiden dan Wakil Presiden. Maka kesibukan di negara ini begitu jelas menyita tenaga, perhatian dan pikiran kita. Namun, jika ini dirasakan sebagai latihan maka semuanya akan menjadi suatu kegiatan yang menyenangkan.
Kesibulan dalam empat bidang di atas sedang dialami oleh banyak bidang tugas, terutama dalam bidang pendidikan, sosial, politik dan keagamaan. Semuanya sedang kita hadapi, dan semoga berjalan lancar dan berhasil (Erfan S).
