FITK Mengadakan Workshop Kurikulum
Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan IAIN Walisongo hari Selasa dan Rabu, 3-4 Juni 2014, mengadakan wokshop. Yaitu workshop Kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) Berbasis Unity of Sciences yang dilaksanakan di Hotel C3 Ungaran.
Dengan adanya rencana perubahan IAIN menjadi UIN, maka kurikulum pun akan mengalami perubahan. Ungkapan berbasis unity of sciences (wahdat al-Ulum), menghendaki bahwa dalam kurikulum UIN itu ada kesatuan dalam penyelenggaraan pembelajaran. Jika di masa sebelumnya dikenal masih ada istilah mata kuliah keislaman atau keagamaan dan mata kuliah umum, maka dengan pendekatan berbasis unity of sciences ini mata kuliah yang disiapkan kepada mahasiswa adalah satu kesatuan mata kuliah utuh UIN, yang ditangani oleh tiap-tiap jurusan. Semuanya merupakan satu kesatuan mata kuliah yang ditangani jurusan PAI, PBA, KI, dan TADRIS.
Secara lebih praktis, mata kuliah yang dulu dikenal dengan mata melajaran keislamanan sudah diberi pendekatan dengan sudut-sudut pandangan empirik seperti historis, sosiologis, paedagogik, dan antropologis. Begitu pula mata kuliah seperti bilogogi, matematika, bahasa, diberi pendekatan dengan Al-Qur’an dan atau hadis. Dengan demikian kondisi tiap mata kuliah menjadi padu.
Workshop kurikulum kali ini dilaksanakan oleh kepanitiaan dari Jurusan PAI. Pesertanya selain terdiri dari para dosen dari jurusan PAI, juga dari jurusan lain seperti PBA (Pendidikan Bahasa Arab) dan KI (Kependidikan Islam) yang diundang sebagai peserta workshop. Menurut panitia, workshop ini merupakan workshop pertama, dalam rangka mengantisipasi kesiapan diri menjadi UIN pada tahun 2014 ini, insya Allah.
Adapun narasumber yang diundang hadir dalam acara ini adalah Prof Dr. Ibnu Hadjar, M.Ed, Prof. Dr. Sutrisno, M.Ag., serta Drs. Miftahuddin, M.Ag. Penulis laporan ini, juga diundang sebagai salah satu peserta workshop (Erf).
