Dies Natalis IAIN Walisongo Semarang setiap tahun jatuh pada bulan April. Tepatnya tanggal 6 April. Kali ini adalah dies yang ke-44. Seperti yang berlangsung tahun lalu, maka sejak sepertiga akhir Maret sampai April 2014 ini, beberapa acara dalam rangka memperingati dies diadakan.
Acara itu didahului dengan Senam bersama di gedung serbaguna dalam rangka pembukaan Pekan Olah Raga Seni Terbatas (PORNITAS), Kongres IKA Walisongo, dan Khatmil Qur’an. Di seputar Khatmil Qur’an, civitas akademika sempat bersama tahlil yang dikhususkan kepada segenap pendiri IAIN, para dosen, dan semua karyawan yang pernah berdedikasi di lingkungan IAIN Walisongo yang telah wafat mendahului kita.
Acara berakhir setelah Pemotongan Tumpengan Selamatan oleh Rektor, Doa oleh Prof Erfan Soebahar, dan Rahmah Tamah bersama (Erf, 4-4-2014).
